Integrating This Blog with ATProto
by Sammy ShearDue to the fact I haven’t really been focusing mainly on programming lately and I wanted this website to get a fresh coat of paint to reflect that, I was looking at some general ways to improve the site as I did so. That led me to be curious about the possibility of ATProto integration with the blog (the one you’re reading right now). So I found standard.site, which allows for long form blog-style content on the protocol. After much tinkering, I ended up deciding to use sequoia in order to sync my blog content to the Atmosphere. This was, however, after much trial and error with other solutions. As part of these other solutions, I did create a way to embed Bluesky replies into the blog as comments on posts, but sequoia provides a much better method of doing this, so that was also somewhat pointless. Regardless, this is now enabled on the site, and you should be able to comment on this post below, but I decided not to retroactively add this feature to older posts.
